News - Experts gear for next round of SoBig Virus; urge users to install Norton

New York - Security experts are urging all Internet users to install Norton Anti-virus 2003, dubbed as the only solution for removal and prevention of the deadly SoBig virus. John Stevens, security expert at Canata Research Inc,. said even though "we never endorse a security product, in Norton's case, not only us but the industry as a whole has praised the product." Stevens said Norton uses a technique which scans all incoming emails and automatically detects and deletes the virus.

 

Norton Antivirus 2003, street priced at $99, is available at over 50% discount on few stores on the Internet. Vendors say this is their way of helping ease the solution by providing the software at less-than street price.

 

In addition, experts across the industry are pleading users to relay to family and friends and help them protect themselves collectively. The SoBig virus, originally released in January, has caused over $10 billion in losses according to sources.

Är den som skickat det vidare till mig drabbad av ett virus, eller är det här ytterligare en ny "smart" spam-metod ? Det känns som att spammarna redan har prövat nästan "allt". Men, men irriterande är det iaf, må deras värdelösa små weenies förtvina än mer omedelbums =/

som han skriver i mailet så verkar det ju som att någon har fått ett virus som skickar ut spam.
