Hur gör man för att byta skin på MSN 5.0?

På följande site kan du ladda ner skin och i en av filerna finns install.txt (page of installing instructions):

Tack så mycket. Problemet är att jag inte får det att funka. Kanske du eller någon annan kan hjälpa mig. Säkert min dåliga engelska.

Har du fått fram detta:

Step 1: Open up the Zip file you have just downloaded. It should

have the new HP you have chosen for your MSN background

and these instructions, nothing more.

 

Step 2: Now click the start menu and go to Run and enter:

 

c:\program files\Messenger

Then click run, this will open a new folder with different files

inside, you do not need to touch anything in this file.

 

Step 3: Ok, now go to the picture that you un-zipped, (the Harry Potter

MSN background) and drag it into the MSN file you have just opened

Using run. A message will come up saying that this file already

Exists, would you like to over write (or worlds to that effect).

Click yes.

 

Step 4: Ok, you're now done, close all the files you have open, and also close

down the MSN messenger. Now re-open your MSN messenger, and if all went

as it should have you will have your wonderful Harry Potter background

on your contacts list on your MSN messenger.

 

Vad fastnar du på?

 

Då jag inte har MSN Messenger installerat och inte har för avsikt att göra det heller, så kan jag inte testa själv.

Det står alltså att jag ska dra filen till mappen som jag öppnade med "kör".

Gör jag det får jag inga frågor om att skriva över något. Men lägger jag filen där ändå och startar om händer det ingenting.

Tyvärr kan jag inte testa vidare, men läser man instruktionerna verkar det som folder och files blandas ihop.

Folder = mapp.

File = fil.

 

Den mapp som du öppnade med "kör", hamnade den i Program files eller Program?

Den haamnade i program files. Men jag ändrade det till Program där programmet ligger. Sen gjorde precis som det stod. Hände inte nåt. Blä!
