Vad menar du med att kontrolera signalvägarna?

 

Jag har prövat att flytta kabeln till en annan maskin och då fungerar det helt utmärkt.

 

Alla mina adressuppgifter är korekta.

Menar du att du tar kabeln från win2k, och flyttar den till din 98´a? Och då kan du pinga din gateway från 98´an med win2k´s kablage?

 

Du administrerar inte gatewayen på nått sätt? Står den hos din leverantör?

Ja precis jag flytar kabeln och kommer utt på nätet och det är inga problem alls.

 

Gatewayen står hos min leverantör, ja.

har du testat att låna 98´ans IP# och lägga in det på win2k stationen? och då pinga din gateway..

När jag pingar gatewayen med 98´ans IP # så får jag ett fel medelande som host unretebal(osäker på stavningen) men när jag använder w2k ip# så får jag request time out.

Har du kollar arp-tabellerna som jag skrev tidigare. Kanske har din win2k-burk mixtrat med mac-adresserna. Då kommer du inte fram till burken även om ip-adressen är riktigt. Se mitt tidigare inlägg.

Jag får bara fram en tabell i 98 maskine i w2k får jag bar fram en tabel som säger No ARP Entries found

Du kan prova att lägga till ett statiskt "entry" till din gateway.

Kolla först upp mac-adressen till gateway'en från 98-burken. Kör sedan detta på w2k-burken:

 

arp -s 217.31.172.1 xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx

 

Vad tror ni andra? Är jag helt ute och cyklar eller?

Tillägg: Har du tankat hem sniffern? Där kan man se arp-paketen, normalt ska allt sådant fixa sig självt. Är du säker på att nät-kortet är 100% ok?

Rensa i dina nät-inst...bort med kortet ur kontrollpanelen, kolla åxå så att alla protokoll försvinner.....starta om, så att windows får hitta kortet igen...sen lägg in allt igen.....

Din trace visar att gateway 217.31.172.1 inte svarar på ARP request. Felet ligger alltså i din gateway eller på vägen dit. Du kanske har en hub med en dålig port.

Har prövat att flyta kabeln till en annan port som jag vet fungerar. Men det hjälper inte. Vad kan jag göra nu?

Inte vad jag vet. Är det något som man ska ändra på och i så fall hur gör jag.

 

Såg lite trafik mellan två andra hostar (windows broadcast) också, hur stort nätverk sitter du på?

 

Mitt lokal nätt är på fyra maskiner och sänn är det en radio länk till min leverantör. Vett inte hur många som är anluttna till dom.

Om du kollar med sniffern igen, och letar upp ett paket som ser ut som det ovan. Vad står det i Target MAC address?

När jag startar om maskine så försvinner inmatningen som jag har gjort i ARP tabelen.

 

Jag ska snart flytta till Kiruna och koppla in den hä maskinen mott en anan server och då undrar jag om det finns någon chans att detta felet försviner ddå eller om det kommer att fortsätta att jäclas med mig där upp också. För jag hinner inte görrra något åt det under dom närmaste 4 veckorna.

 

Tack så mycket för hjälpen men jag tror att jag ska instalera om en sista gång och sedan blir den w98 eller något sånt på maskine i stället.
