Ändra lagringsplats i Outlook

Hur gör jag för att flytta min PST-fil? Jag har kopierat den till en annan partition men lyckas inte ändra sökvägen i datafilshanteringen. Istället lade jag till den som en extra datafil, men alla mail kommer ju fortfarande till den gamla. Löser det sig genom att bara ta bort den gamla (i datafilshanteringen) eller måste jag först peka så att alla mail kommer till den nya och hur gör jag isåfall det?

Easiest way,

 

Just move your pst, when you launch outlook, he's gonna tell you that he doesn't find the pst and asks you where it is. Just select the correct one.

 

One step below differs depending on whether you are in Internet Mail Only mode or Corporate/Workgroup mode. To determine your version, open Outlook and click HELP->ABOUT.

 

 

1. Start Outlook.

2. On the View menu, click Folder List.

3. Right-click Outlook Today-Personal Folder, and then click Properties.

4. On the General tab, click Advanced.

5. Note the path to your personal folder file.

6. Click OK, and then click OK again.

7. Quit Outlook.

 

Copy Your Personal Folder File:

 

1. On the Start menu, point to Programs, and then click Windows Explorer.

2. Browse through the files to the location of your personal folder file.

3. Copy your personal folder file to the location that you want.

 

Point Outlook to Your New Personal Folder File:

1. Open Outlook.

2. On the File menu, point to Open, and then click Personal Folders File.

3. Browse through the folders to the new location for your personal folder file, and then click Open.

4. IMO MODE : In the Folder List pane, right-click your new personal folder file, and then click Properties. In the Properties dialog box, click to select the "Deliver POP mail to this Personal Folders File" check box, and then click OK.

5. CW MODE : Click Tools, the Services, then the Delivery Tab. Click on the downward arrow under "Deliver new mail to the following location" and click the bottom "Personal Folders" or whatever you named it, click OK.

6. You will be prompted to restart Outlook, click OK

7. Close all open windows, and then quit Outlook.

8. Start Outlook.

9. When you receive the following message, click Yes:

The location messages are delivered to has changed for this user profile. Is this correct?

 

Outlook opens your new personal folder file.

 

Close and Delete the Old Personal Folder File

---------------------------------------------

 

1. In the Folder List pane, right-click the old Personal Folders file.

NOTE: The old personal folder file does not use the Outlook Today icon.

2. Click Close Personal Folder.

3. Quit Outlook.

Det var ungefär som jag tänkt så nu vågade jag försöka mig på att plocka bort filen jag inte längre ville använda. Då kom det upp en ruta som varnade och sa att jag inte kunde ta bort den för att den var standardlagringsplats för mail och hur jag gjorde för att byta standardplats. (Verktyg > E-postkonton)
