IE8 i Win7 Ultimate/64 = ingen internetkontakt längre

Har en halvårsgammal dator med Core i5-processor, ADSL via Glocalnet, två IE8, en med 32 bitar, en med 64 bitar. Brukar växla mellan dem. Båda har en tid ofta, ofta stängts ner och startat om. Osv. Mycket irriterande. Senaste dagarna har det blvit mer och mer omöjligt att "göra något" med datorn, uppdateringar har stoppat på halva vägen, sen en längre tid tillbaka har det inte gått att få återställningspunkter, trots att "På" är ikryssat. Kan få svaret att utrymmet på hårddisken inte räcker, trots att det varit över 60 Gb. Gb!

För ett par dar sen lade webläsarna av totalt, "Websidan kan inte visas" blir svaret hur man än bär sig åt. Har tillsammans med glocalnets support gått igenom nätverk, ip-inställningar, resetat modemet etc etc. Alla funktioner ser ut att vara ok - bara det att det inte går att komma ut på nätet! WinFelsökaren noterar ju att det är fel men kan inte göra något åt det. Dvs att det inte finns nätanslutning.Supporten hade till slut inget mera förslag annat än att koppla in en annan dator på samma anslutning.

 

Så skedde, en gammal burk med XP Pro (underbara XP Pro i jämförelse med ständigt krånglande Win 7) och se, allt funkade. Det är över den jag kan skicka det här. Alltså inget fel på internetkopplingen som sådan men VAR ska man tro att felet sitter på nya datorn? År det hårdvaran, för då gäller garantin än. IE8 kan man ju misstänka men inte ska väl båda webläsarna kaputta samtidigt! Har försökt installera Firefox från skiva men den ska tydligen ha kontakt med nätet så det går inte heller. I Win7an har jag också en virtuell dator med XP pro - går inte komma ut där heller. Jag förstår inte hur jag ska komma ur det här? Gör du det, goda medsyster/broder i den digitala världen?

För mig som håller koll på vad skadliga program har för sig så låter det misstänkt att systemåterställningen och uppdateringar inte fungerar samt att webbläsarna blir allt sämre. Om du vill kolla upp om datorn verkar vara infekterad så börja med att föra över DDS från den fungerande datorn till den konstiga med hjälp av USB-minne, CD, extern hårddisk etc. Spara DDS på Skrivbordet.

Mycket tack Cecilia, för som vanligt snabbt svar. Det var så länge sen jag skickade loggar, har därför troligen gjort fel nu. Men gör ändå ett försök. Jag har f ö i veckan djupskannat med Malwarebytes utan att det hitade något skumt.

Därefter fanns av de föreslagna mapparna endast den första, "Conduit" kvar att deleta. Övriga var redan borta.

AdAware 9.0.6

Problem före 30 maj med att IE slog ifrån och återstartade ofta, ofta. Men det var först den 17 juni som båda webläsarna blev helt döda. Systemåterställningen funkade heller inte före den 30 maj. Eusing Free Registry Cleaner har jag tyckt gör ett bra jobb.

Det är för mycket säkerhetsprogram i datorn som kanske krockar med varandra och orsakar problem. Avinstallera därför "Ad-Aware" enligt instruktionen http://www.lavasoftsupport.com/index.php?showtopic=30850 och "McAfee Security Scan Plus" på vanligt sätt. Stäng också av tjänsten för Microsoft Security Client:

Kontrollpanelen - Administrationsverktyg - Tjänster

Leta upp "Microsoft Network Inspection" i listan, dubbelklicka och välj Startmetod Inaktiverad.

 

Men det var först den 17 juni som båda webläsarna blev helt döda.

Jag ser att du dagen innan installerade ett optimeringsprogram.

PC Speed Maximizer hittar jag men det går inte att avinstallera, inte att ta bort! Har f ö fått in det av misstag.

 

Eusing Free register cleaner syns inte i någon avinstallerare men kan väl raderas - men då ligger det ju skräp kvar i registret?

Det var inte fråga om att avinstallera registerstädningsprogrammen utan att använda deras återställningsfunktion för att återställa datorn till hur den var innan programmen kördes, utifall att de gjorde något dumt.

Det blir allt virrigare. Eusing Free Registry cleaner HAR jag avinstallerat, det är borta där. Men så hittar jag ändå dess ikon nere i Aktivitetsfältet, klickar, programmet fullt fungerande. Inte registrerat. Finns något att utvinna ur detta?

Det kan tänkas att enda lösningen då är att ominstallera Windows.

Ja, så blev det. Och nu (nyss i varje fall) funkar nätanslutning med IE normalt. Tack Cecilia för all vänlig hjälp!

Bra att datorn är igång igen fast det var ju tråkigt att det krävdes en ominstallation.

 

Var nu försiktig med registerstädningsprogram, särskilt om de inte har någon återställningsmöjlighet. Det är många som tycker att CCleaner fungerar bra och mycket sällan städar bort för mycket i registret samt sparar alla gamla registervärden så att man kan återställa registret.

 

Här kan du läsa mina vanliga råd för en säkrare dator, men det är så klart viktigt att man använder sitt förnuft också.
