IE7

Hej!

Jag har precis installerat IE 7.
Jag har hört, vet inte om jag har läst det här på pfa eller var jag har hört det, att man kan ställa in så att IE7:an kan se ut som Internet Explorer 6 gjorde.
Vet någon hur man gör detta?

Gjorde en snabb sökning och fick upp en träff som innehöll nedanstående tips. Jag har inte provat det själv eftersom jag inte använder Internet Explorer så jag vet inte hur bra det fungerar.

How to make IE7 look exactly like IE6

Maybe you are one of the many people that dislike the way the toolbars or icons are arranged in Microsofts new browser, the IE7. Honestly speaking, I have been using IE7 for quite some time now and I find it hard to navigate the browsers new layout.

Now, fret not. There is a solution to make your IE7 look just like IE6.  Just follow the this very simple tip.

1. Navigate to the IE7s installation directory. If you have selected the default installation, it would be at C:\windows\ie7.

2. Locate the iexplore.exe file then right-click on it then select send to desktop (create shortcut).

3. By now, youll have a iexplore.exe shortcut icon on your desktop. Rename it to anything you want.

4. Delete the original Internet Explorer desktop icon (this step is optional. you can retain the original IE7 icon just in case you need it).

5. Double-click on the new IE7 shortcut to launch Internet Explorer.

There you have it. Your Internet Explorer 7 will look like IE6. Enjoy!
