Jag har en HP scanjet 4100c.

När jag startar scanner programmet (precisionscan) så kommer det fram en ruta där det står "hpprsclt.exe har genererat ett fel och kommer att avslutas av windows. du måste starta om programet.

En fellogg skapas"

Prova detta, hoppas det går bra på engelska?..

 

SOLUTION 1: Perform a complete uninstall and reinstall of HP Precisionscan LT.

 

1,From the Windows desktop select Start, Settings, and Control Panel.

2,Select Add/Remove Programs; then highlight HP Precisionscan LT and select Remove.

Follow the on-screen instructions for removal of the HP Precisionscan LT. When the uninstall is complete, select 'No, I will restart the computer later," then Finish.

3,Close Add/Remove Programs and Control Panel.

4,Open Windows Explorer.

5,Highlight the Scanjet folder, then select File, Delete, then Yes (send folder to Recycle Bin).

6,Insert the HP Scanning Software CD-ROM. If the installation menu appears select Exit.

7,In Windows Explorer, select the CD-ROM Drive (Usually D: or E:).

8,Copy the folder titled English to the Desktop.

9,Restart the computer in Safe Mode. The easiest way to get into Windows Safe Mode is to restart with a floppy disk (any non-boot disk) inserted. Upon starting, a black screen will report a non-system disk error. At this point remove the floppy disk and press the F8 key twice.

10,A Windows startup menu will appear. Select Safe Mode.

11,When Safe Mode appears, open the English folder that was copied from the HP CD-ROM. Within the English folder select SETUP.EXE.

12,Follow the on-screen instructions for installation. When the installation is complete, restart the computer as prompted.

 

 

SOLUTION 2: For USB Scanners:

 

Make sure that STIMON and HPSJVXD are running in the background. Press the CTRL+ALT+DELETE keys simultaneously. Both STIMON and HPSJVXD should appear in the Close Program list. If not, follow these steps:

 

1,Select Start and Run. Type MSCONFIG.EXE then select OK.

2,Select the tab labeled Startup.

3,Check the boxes titled HPSCANMonitor (HPSJVXD) and StillImageMonitor (Stimon) then select OK.

4,Restart the computer.

 

Löser ej detta ditt fel så tycker jag att du kontaktar hp supporten på tel: 0771-303000 för mer felsökning.

 

PS:

Då det saknas information som operativ system version, USB eller Parallel användning etc etc.. så är det knepigare att göra en korrect felsökning.
