Hej

 

Fick häromveckan en gammal Toshiba Satellite Pro A120 med T5500 Intel Centrini Duo av brorsan eftersom den lagt av och han köpte en ny bärbar istället. Den är 3-4 år gammal och startar inte alls...lamporna lyser och det låter typ "whiii" en gång inifrån och sen är den stendöd. Inget händer.

 

Han frågade på butiken där han köpte den nya och de trodde kylningen med fläktar var sönder eftersom de haft stora problem med den modellen tidigare.

 

Jag försökte skruva upp datorn för att kunna kolla fläktarna men det går inte att få av höljet på fanskapet hur mycket jag än sliter och drar. Det sitter troligtvis en skruv under DVD-läsaren som inte går att komma åt om man nu inte sliter ut läsaren. Någon som vet hur man får upp höljet på en sådan dator? Går det att få ut DVDläsaren på något sätt? Behöver man specialverktyg? Isf vilka?

Börja alltid med att ta ur batteriet innan du plockar isär nåt och tänk på Elektrostatiska urladdningar (ESD) som kan skada elektroniken.

A few things to know before you start taking your laptop apart

The following generic steps can help you to dismantle your laptop.

• Remove the battery.

• Remove all cards on the bottom (memory module, wireless card, modem card, etc.) Be careful with cables and connectors, it's very easy to damage and very time consuming to replace.

• Remove all drives (hard drive, CD-ROM drive, DVD drive, etc.) If you cannot find the hard drive, it most likely is hidden under the keyboard or under the top cover assembly. If you cannot find securing screws for the optical drive on the bottom, they are most likely under the keyboard.

• Remove all screws on the bottom of the laptop.

• Remove the keyboard securing strip. Be careful, sometimes it might be very tight.

• Remove the keyboard.

• Remove all screws under the keyboard and disconnect all cables.

• Remove all screws securing the display assembly. Lift the LCD screen / display off the base.

• Lift the top cover assembly off the base.

• Remove all screws securing the system board, the power board, the video board, etc. Disconnect all cables, connecting the boards.

• Remove all boards and remove the CPU.
