Windows Media Connect, cannot add folder...

Har problem med WMC, jag får upp meddelandet "The folder cannot be added" oavsett vilken mapp eller enhet jag försöker lägga till.

 

Jag har följt punkt 4.5 på http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/devices/wmconnect/faq.aspx

 

dvs. att jag har gjort som det står:

 

When Windows Media Connect encounters a problem sharing a folder, it displays the message "Shared with errors" in the Status column in the Sharing pane. If you right-click the message, and then click Status Details, the Status Details dialog box appears. In the Error column, the message "unknown error" might appear.

 

"Unknown error" can occur for a variety of reasons. However, it is frequently related to incompatible file or folder permissions. To fix a file or folder permission problem, try the following:

 

1.

Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Appearance and Themes.

2.

Click Folder Options, and then click the View tab.

3.

In the Advanced settings list box, clear the Use simple file sharing (Recommended) check box, and then click OK.

4.

Using Windows Explorer, right-click the file or folder that you cannot share, and then click Properties.

5.

Click the Security tab, click Advanced, and then click NETWORK SERVICE.

6.

Verify that the Permission column indicates "Read" permission.

7.

If the check box Inherit from parent the permission entries that apply to child objects. Include these with entries explicity defined here. is cleared, click the check box so that a check mark appears in the box.

8.

Click OK twice.

 

Punkt 5 har jag test för både mapp och hela enheten.

 

Men inte kan jag lägga till en mapp för det. Så det är ju lite tråkigt med en nyinköpt D-Link DSM-320 för 1700 spänn som jag inte kan använda med WMC. Vill ha den då den körs som en tjänst.
