Problem att ansulta mot exchangeserver

Hi!

I have recently installed Exchange server 2003 on our 2003 server.

Everything works fine inside the network but if I try to connect outside from an internet connection I got the following problem.

My domain is named CO.COMPANY.COM and the server is named SERVER. CO.COMPANY.COM is also a regged domain pointing to our IP at the company WWW.COMPANY.COM is pointing to a www-hotel.

When I connect at the local network I connect to CO.COMAPNY.COM in the Outlook 2003, but the name changes automatically to SERVER.CO.COMPANY.COM.

This is not a problem on the local network since it locates everything just fine. But when I try to connect from the outside and try to configure Outlook 2003 to connect to CO.COMPANY.COM the program automatically changes the exchange server name to SERVER.CO.COMPANY.COM . After changing the name Outlook can’t connect to the Exchange server. I guess that the computer outside the internal network can’t resolve the name SERVER.CO.COMPANY.COM.

Anyone got a solution? How does anyone elses configuration look like?

Tacksam för svar trots det engelska språket! Går bra att svara på svenska! ;-)
